Last year, myclimate rolled out a wide variety of new solutions to protect the climate with assistance from numerous partners. In 2020 companies were looking for more than specific solutions and measures to boost climate protection. A growing number of them were also seeking out holistic and strategic ways to integrate climate protection into business processes.
This interest sparked a marked increase in demand for myclimate services, with demand for measures to mobilise and empower individuals being just as strong as that for consulting and solutions on CO2 management in business processes. In addition, the volume of voluntarily offset CO2 reached a new record of almost two million tonnes.
Strategically Integrated Climate Protection is a Present and Future Challenge
“Despite the predictions of gloom and doom, 2020 did not force companies to choose between survival and sustainability. On the contrary, many businesses used this opportunity to broaden their perspective. Countless new and current partners reached out to us, having realised that climate protection should be permanently and strategically integrated in their business model.” comments myclimate CEO Stephen Neff.
The annual report contains selected partnerships alongside the financial results, the balance sheet of offset tonnes of CO2 and the myclimate SDG report.

Making the future happen
“The time for climate action is now – even more so today than during the COVID-19 crisis. There are many different ways in which business actors and even individuals can make a climate friendly future happen. myclimate expects to be supporting many more partners on this journey in the years to come.” says Stephen Neff, looking optimistically to the future.
