This Swiss paper wholesaler has long been conscious of its corporate responsibility and is committed to ecological transport. Papyrus Switzerland Ltd. (former Sihl+Eika) transports more than 50 percent of its products by rail. Last year, myclimate and Papyrus launched a pilot project for the transportation and logistics sector and introduced successful measures to optimise their truck fleet and logistics management. In that same year, Papyrus reduced the natural gas consumption of their logistics centre by 25 percent compared to the previous year. Unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions from transportation and its logistics centre are offset in myclimate climate protection projects.
